Waiting

Today San Antonio is under threat of flooding and severe weather. We are making do, and sheltering as we can.

I’m comfortable at home. The pets are safe and tucked in. And I have my knitting bag for comfort.

I’m also really thankful there are faster knitters in the world than me! I’ve been able to have really awesome socks all throughout the cold months! The socks I am wearing today came from Walmart. I’m wearing flannels from Old Navy. And tops from Walmart and Costco. And no outfit would be complete without my hat from Behr paint, where Erick works.

Add to that my rain boots and raincoat, and some travel gear and Erick and I are set for adventure.

We rely on our gallant leadership to ensure that we make it home, and that our homecoming is safe and secure. Our prayers are with our family and friends and our fighters in the field.
