Going to the dogs

Today we had a surprise visitor. Somebody’s husky got loose. Thankfully the weather isn’t forecasted to be beastly hot today. But, my poor June and Sasha bugg’ums will have to be kept indoors until the thing can be caught.

The escaped dog really did remind me of a wolf; staring up at my Sasha, looking like it might eat her for breakfast. The odd thing was Sasha was mostly relaxed, and still obeyed me for the most part; she just didn’t want to walk back inside with me; and small wonder! June has been teasing her about being the invading “wolf” since Sasha came home from the breeder practically! It’s one of the Bug’s favorite games with her sister.

It still distresses Sasha a little but she’s learned to fight her way through the door. It only happens when June is feeling playful. June likes to pretend she’s defending a ranch house, and we let her because we love her. Because a Buggness gets what she wants!
